Skype launch offer for customers - 33% discount until 1st June 2008

Skype have just made it easier and cheaper for people to call friends and family who aren't yet on Skype by introducing subscriptions with unlimited calls to landlines* in selected countries.

Customers pay one monthly fee and can make up to 10,000 minutes of calls to landlines in up to 34 countries. There are different calling subscriptions (for example, Unlimited Country, Unlimited Europe or North America and Unlimited World) and customers can choose three payment options - monthly, quarterly or annual.

Best of all, Skype are giving away one month free for every two months bought until 1st June 2008.

So how do the new subscriptions compare to Skype Credit?

Skype customers now have a choice between paying monthly with the new calling subscriptions or Pay As You Go with Skype Credit. Skype customers will still need to buy Skype Credit to send SMS or to call mobiles and landlines in countries not covered by the subscriptions.
